Adoption

“By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us reach OURS. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared.”

Adoption is a way of providing a new family for children who cannot be brought up by their biological parents. It is a legal procedure in which all parental responsibility is transferred to the adopters. Once an adoption has been granted, it cannot be reversed. An adopted child loses all legal ties with their birth parents and becomes a full member of the adoptive family, usually taking the family’s name.

We have increasing numbers of members joining us who have become mothers through adoption or who are applying to adopt. Here you can read more about their experiences.
